What to Expect
Your Eye Bags & Dark Circles journey
Eye Assessment
Your clinician distinguishes between pigmentation-type dark circles (respond well to Hydrating Facials and serum infusion), structural dark circles from tear-trough hollowing (need volume or skin thickening over time), and puffiness-type issues (fluid retention responds best to drainage-focused treatments
Eye Treatment Selection
Most clients begin with a Hydro Facial including the under-eye hydrating step. Darker or puffier areas are supplemented with Eye Electroporation in subsequent sessions, where available.
Treatment Session
Hydrafacial plus eye step typically takes 75–90 minutes total. RF microneedling on the under-eye zone is brief — additional 15–20 minutes during your main treatment session.
Aftercare & Review
Under-eye skin requires extra hydration after any energy-based treatment. A personalised eye-care plan is provided.
The under-eye area has exceptionally thin skin. Light treatments generally suit all types. Fractional RF microneedling near the eyes is performed at lower energy and may be limited to clients with good skin elasticity — older, very thin skin or pronounced tear-trough hollowing may require extended discussion with your clinician.
Aftercare & Safety Note
Before and after your Eye Bags & Dark Circles
Aftercare Instructions
- Use an eye cream compatible with your post-treatment regime.
- Sleep with your head slightly elevated on treatment nights to reduce fluid retention around the eyes.
- Avoid rubbing or pressing on the under-eye area for 24 hours after treatment.
- Wear sunglasses outdoors — UV exposure worsens periorbital pigmentation.
Safety Notes
- If you have a tendency toward milia (tiny white cysts) under the eyes, heavy creams are avoided post-RF microneedling.
- Eye Electroporation is gentle but may cause mild warmth — rare temporary redness resolves within a few hours.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Clinic treatments visibly improve many types of hereditary bags — particularly those caused by thin skin showing blood vessels or mild puffiness. Deeper structural bags may show partial improvement; more significant bags are traditionally addressed with surgical blepharoplasty.
When done carefully at lower energy settings, RF microneedling leaves minimal marks — typically light pink for 12–24 hours maximum. Bruising can occur rarely in very thin-skinned individuals.
